For Out of Province Patients who have provincial health insurance cards services that are covered by Ontario Health Insurance will be billed to your Provincial Health Card Number. Please be advised that should your provincial plan reject these billings then you will be responsible for payment.

There is a reciprocal billing arrangement between Ontario and all other provinces with the exception of Quebec. Patients with health insurance from Quebec will have to pay all fees up front and then apply to their plan for reimbursement.  We will provide you with receipts for this purpose. You should bring with you a letter of referral from your family physician so that we can keep your physician updated on the fertility treatments you are receiving.

Generally, you will need to stay locally for at least 2 – 3 weeks in order to complete an investigative cycle or treatment cycle. 

If you are not able to stay with family or friends there are hotels close to the main Mississauga Centre. Should you be coming to undergo IVF treatment it is best to stay close to the Mississauga Centre as it houses the IVF lab and operating room.

It is possible  to arrange some testing locally, to get a list of these tests please email the nurse at nurse@newlifefertility.com so that these may be done before you arrive.
