Dr. Alkurdi earned her medical degree from Damascus University in 1993 and went on to complete postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the Royal College in the UK, earning her MRCOG in 2003. She further specialized in Ultrasound, Fertility, and Assisted Conception at Bart’s and The London Hospital, UK, obtaining the Royal College Certificate in 2006.
For over a decade, she served as a Senior Consultant at the Women’s Hospital and Assisted Conception Unit in Doha, Qatar, before bringing her expertise to Canada. In recognition of her scientific contributions, she was awarded the prestigious FRCOG by the Royal College in 2017.
In Canada, Dr. Alkurdi earned her Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) in 2015, followed by a subspecialty certificate in Reproductive Medicine, Endocrinology, and Infertility in 2019.
