How to Get a Referral?

If you’re an Ontario resident, the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) covers the cost of your initial consultation, along with most blood tests and investigations. To access this coverage, a referral is required.
Below, you will find the types of referrals that qualify.
For patients with provincial medical coverage from any province across Canada, except Quebec
You will need a referral to book a consultation with Newlife Fertility, and there are two options:
Option 1: Virtual referral by Rocket Doctor
Is it a challenge for you to see a family doctor? Rocket Doctor provides no-fee virtual appointments and can refer you to Newlife Fertility.
The steps are easy:- Click below to request a Rocket Doctor appointment
- Rocket Doctor will contact you to book an appointment with a family physician, typically same-day
- The Rocket Doctor physician will send a referral to Newlife Fertility
- When Newlife receives the referral, our intake team will contact you to book your fertility appointment
Option 2: Your family doctor
Ask a family doctor (your own or at a walk-in clinic) for a referral. Family physicians can also refer by completing this online referral form & sending it to us via fax number +1 888-248-1241 or email to hello@newlifefertility.com. This process ensures that your referral is directed to the right place and handled with the necessary confidentiality and care. It’s an easy and efficient way to begin your fertility journey.
