WHAT IS YOGA-CBT (Y-CBT)?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a well known evidenced-based approach to manage anxiety. CBT impacts the way you think and respond to stress. CBT strategies help you to replace negative thoughts with new more balanced thoughts which can reduce symptoms of anxiety and stress. Yoga (physical postures, conscious breathing, and meditation) targets your physical and psychological response to stress.
When you combine yoga and CBT, known as Y-CBT, you target both the body and the mind, which helps you deal more effectively with life’s challenges. Research has demonstrated that Y-CBT can improve anxiety, depression, panic, sleep, and quality of life*.

The course runs every Thursday evening for 6 weeks starting October 3, 2019, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before time to get settled.
